Vintage Primitive Handmade Red Ware/Stoneware Thumb Jug, dated 1948. A unique addition to any Pottery Jug or Military collection!This HTF (Hard to Find) piece features "Sadie Hawkins Day, Fort Eustis Oct 2, 1948" scratched into the front.Dimensions: 6.5" tall, 4.75" diameter at the base.Condition: No noted cracks or repairs, but there are chips to the glazed finish (see photos). The back of the jug is a darker brown than the front.Sold As-Is. Please view photos carefully as this is a vintage, pre-owned item from a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
